How to get more Google reviews automatically

A simple system for asking every happy customer for a review at the right moment, without chasing people by hand.

Reviews help new customers choose you, and most happy customers never leave one unless they are asked. The fix is to ask every time, at the right moment, without anyone having to remember.

The simple system

  1. Trigger: a job is marked complete in your CRM or job tool.
  2. Thank-you: a short, personal text goes out a few hours later.
  3. Review request: a follow-up with a direct link to your Google review page.
  4. Gentle reminder: one polite nudge if they have not responded.
  5. Unhappy customers: if the reply is negative, route it to a person to fix privately.

Timing and tone

Ask while the experience is fresh. Keep the message short, warm and in your own voice. One tap to the review page beats a long explanation.

Keep it honest

Ask every customer, not just the happy ones, and follow each platform's rules. Never offer rewards in exchange for positive reviews.

Beyond reviews

The same system can check in later and remind customers when they are due for service again, turning one-time jobs into repeat business. We call this our Client Nurturing System.
